As a Senior Automotive Technician, you will lead complex diagnostics and deliver a full spectrum of advanced repairs and maintenance services. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing in-depth test drives, quality inspections, and post-repair verifications on all vehicle makes and models.
- Expert-level diagnostics and troubleshooting of engine, transmission, and electrical systems; accurately interpreting and documenting DTCs, freeze-frame data, and live data streams.
- Serving as the primary technical liaison with the Service Manager, providing detailed repair recommendations.
- Proactively identifying and communicating scheduled maintenance and safety concerns to the Service Manager.
Job Requirements: First and foremost, you must be Honest, Trustworthy, and a Team Player. You must possess master-level mechanical and electrical skills, exceptional organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills.
Specific qualifications for the Senior Automotive Technician position include:
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on vehicle repair experience, with at least 3 years in a senior/lead diagnostic role.
- ASE Master Technician certification
- Proven expertise with advanced shop equipment: oscilloscopes, lab scopes, scan tools (Snap-on, Bosch, Autel)
- Comprehensive personal tool inventory
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
- At least 21 years of age with a clean driving record and insurable status.
